      To place an order on our site, it is first necessary to create an online customer account, you can then place an order by connecting to this account. We do not take orders by phone or free paper, all orders must be placed online directly.

      For mainland France: Delivery is completely free from € 49 of purchases, below this minimum delivery costs are applied, these are calculated automatically in the basket according to your delivery address and the weight of the products contained in your basket. Outside mainland France: We do not have free shipping, we invoice according to the actual shipping costs. Delivery costs for international shipments (EU and Non-EU) are calculated automatically in the basket depending on the country and the weight of the desired products.

      -Shipping in mainland France: We obviously ship our entire range (products, seeds and plants) everywhere in mainland France !

      -Overseas France shipments: There are strict customs restrictions on the import of plants for Overseas France (Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana, Reunion, Mayotte, Saint-Pierre -et-Miquelon, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin, Wallis-et-Futuna and French Polynesia). We are a small team and are not calibrated to export subject to phytosanitary certification, so it is not possible for us to ship plants (seeds or plants) directly to an address located in the French overseas departments and territories. No problem, however, for other "inert" products, gardening accessories and books for example.

      -Shipping within the European Union: We ship our entire range (products, seeds and plants) to all the countries of the European Union. The 27 member countries are Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland , Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden.

      -International shipments (Outside the EU): We also ship all our products internationally, outside the European Union, with the exception of plants. Customs and phytosanitary regulations are specific to each country and we cannot control them all: you can therefore order on our online store, but it is your responsibility as a customer to inform yourself about the laws in force in the country.       We are obviously sorry for the inconvenience caused. If, despite the care we take in the packaging, you notice that a plant has been delivered to you in poor condition, you should send us your complaint by e-mail to the following address: contact@alsagarden.com under 24 maximum hours from the day following receipt of the package. Please also specify your name, first name and the order reference. For any complaint concerning plants or other products, please attach photos to your e-mail. We will get back to you as soon as possible and we will try to find a solution to this inconvenience.

      In order to reduce our impact on the environment, we switched to digital invoices, so we no longer included paper invoices with your orders. You can however download, and if necessary print your invoice directly from your customer area in the order history.

      It is possible to come on site to make your purchases directly (Address, Info & Hours), however, for technical and logistical reasons, we do not offer on-site collection for an order previously placed online on our site.

      Yes indeed, unless otherwise stated, our seeds are all certified organic by Ecocert France. Our AB certificate is available on request. The published invoices as well as our seed bags bear the French and European AB logo as well as the mention FR-BIO-01.

    • keyboard_arrow_right Why are your seed bags made of kraft paper ?

      Our seeds are packaged in kraft paper bags, a material ensuring very good seed conservation. The kraft paper we use comes from renewable resources and also has the advantage of being perfectly biodegradable and recyclable.

      Our bags contain different quantities of seeds according to the varieties, sometimes expressed in number of seeds, and sometimes in grams, you will find this information on our bags of seeds in the paragraph "Contenance", and obviously the packaging is also clearly specified on our site.

      Alsagarden encourages and supports as much as possible the local production of reproducible and organic seeds. Thus, nearly 85% of our seeds are produced by our network of small professional French growers-multipliers. In order to expand our offer, around 15% of the varieties we offer are also produced in organic or biodynamic agriculture, from our German and Swiss neighbors.

      Generally the shelf life of our seeds is 2, 3 or 4 years depending on the variety. We put rather short dates as "expiration dates" on the bags, but this does not mean that the seeds will not germinate after the date indicated, but from this date the germination rate is successible to decrease. gradually. If you want to keep your seeds for several years, we invite you to store them in a cool (15°C maximum), dry (60% maximum humidity) and dark place. Finally, if you want to keep them for the long term, we advise you to store them in the freezer, they will thus keep their germinating power for many years.

      We have chosen not to publish a paper catalog for ecological reasons, you will however find all of our varietal range available on our site directly, or on site in our physical store.

      We work just in time with relatively little storage and therefore offer for sale fresh seeds from the last harvest, or from the previous year at most. We carry out germination tests on our seed lots regularly to ensure an optimal germination rate for our customers and we are also checked by several organisms each season on this point. However, we are not in a position to provide a guarantee of germination, since you will understand that beyond the quality of the seeds, the success or failure of a sowing depends on very many factors that it is impossible to check for us (sowing method, nature of the substrate, sowing date, depth, watering, exposure, temperature ...). However, if you have a concern about the germination rate, we invite you to contact us by e-mail (contact@alsagarden.com) indicating the batch number written on the bag as well as your name / first name and order reference. We will of course carry out additional tests and keep you informed.

      At Alsagarden, we have chosen to offer you only peasant varieties known as “populations”, that is to say reproducible as is by you, and therefore free of rights. Our desire is to bring back to life the vegetable diversity as we found it in the old catalogs of seed producers. You will therefore not find an F1 hybrid variety by us, and obviously no GMO varieties !

      We offer peasant seeds produced on a small scale, they are sometimes rare varieties produced in “confidential” quantities, so it happens that we have references out of stock for a good part of the season.       3. Be certified organic and comply with the regulatory level for the activity of seed production.

You can either submit a variety that you are already producing to us. We will then do a variety research and assess the interest in our range, or we will make you a variety proposal.       You can find our range of organic and reproducible seeds, small gardening equipment and depending on the season old vegetable plants, unusual aromatic plants and edible flowers, as well as original small fruit trees. In addition to the shop, during our opening hours and in season, you can also freely visit our small vegetable garden, both an exhibition garden, but also an experimental garden which is cultivated in particular respecting the principles of permaculture.

      We are sorry, however we do not offer advance reservations or prepayment.
